This interim report is part of our wider 2024-25 evaluation, and focuses on Sumdog’s implementation and early findings on its impact on a small number of schools participating in the study.

What does the study involve?
We're working with classes of Year 5 pupils who've not used Sumdog before so we can independently assess the efficacy of our Sumdog platform on pupil attainment. Each school participating receives:
- A free school-wide Sumdog subscription for 2 years
- A dedicated account manager and training on how to regularly use Sumdog with their class
- Tracking of pupil attainment in term 1 and 3
- A 10-minute survey for pupils to complete on their attitudes towards maths at the start and end of the academic year
